Assignment 18
Practice the Bandhas;
  1. Uddiyana Bandha, the Flying Up Lock
  2. Mula Bandha (Root Lock) 
  3.  Jalandhara Bandha (Throat Lock)
  4. Combine all 3 for the Master Lock practice
Take notes about your practice on your log.

Use these locks before and during all inversions, preps or arm balances.

EXTRA CREDIT #9:  
Mula Bandha Core Prana Practice Mula Bandha. Lay on back in Corpse Pose. Hug knees to chest, Apanasana, then tuck the chin to the chest and raise the shoulders off the mat, push low back into earth, point toes. Engage Mula Bandha.
  1. Krama 1: Lower feet and head.
  2. Krama 2: Extend one leg about 30 degrees to the earth, keep Mula Bandha one breath at a time. Arms can stay by the hips top support back.
  3. Krama 3: Lift by hips straight forward. Hold at least 5 breaths, keep root lock engaged. If you lose root lock at any point simply lower feet and head.
  4. Krama 4: Breath of Fire with each krama.

Practice as often as possible, keeping Mula Bandha as first priority. Stay in each Krama for about a week up to a month with a strong practice before moving forward to next Krama. Option to practice in boat/Navasana.

Add to Prana Intuitive Vinyasa classes with cues, if using in a flow.

Log the practice time on your student log and  give feedback.
